Effective Core And Supportive Services|Ending Homelessness In Southern Nevada
We understand that homelessness is not just a lack of housing but a complex challenge that affects every aspect of a person's life. Our comprehensive solution to the alarming issue of homelessness in Southern Nevada is a multi-fold program, Effective Core And Supportive Services (ECASS), that aims at helping people experiencing homelessness find permanent, supportive housing and access the necessary services and support to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential. Homeless individuals who come in touch with ECASS will be provided with the following:
Housing Support: getting homeless individuals to settle in new, affordable, permanent homes with innovative construction technology in a planned community to meet their needs.
Mental Health Services: helping homeless individuals cope with mental health issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
Job Training: providing vocational training to homeless individuals to gain skills and resources to find employment.
Community Engagement: building social connections and civic participation between homeless individuals and the broader community.
Healthcare Services: offering access to primary and preventive care to homeless individuals, enrolling them in health insurance plans, and accessing specialty care when needed.
Pets' Area Services: We recognize that pets can be the sole source of help for a person. Our pet-friendly policy allows the people we serve to keep their pets at their homes and offer veterinary services.
ECASS's approach will not only benefit people experiencing homelessness, but it will also create positive impacts on our city, society, and environment. Homeless people will find a home, a family, and a purpose. They will have their dignity, hope, and dreams restored. Homelessness and related expenses to the city will be eliminated in Las Vegas while creating jobs, boosting the local economy, and improving public health and safety. Promoting food security by providing the people we serve with fresh garden produce using clean energy and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
